dealermatch on eBAY / golfstiffy

Today I wanna write a post about (dealermatch) on eBay or Golfstiffy (www.golfstiffy.com)

I was just doing some market research online and chanced upon his 'items for sale'.
I looked at every one of his items and description.
I must say I was, and am still a little annoyed at what he writes on his item description.

This guy flat out disses overseas sellers and claims that overseas sellers sells cheap knock offs that will even cause damage to golf clubs. I mean, that's quite a sweeping statement isn't it? It's like saying all Muslims are terrorists?

Part of doing well in sales is to sell yourself well and give yourself credit. I get that, I totally do. On the flip side, do not cheapen yourself by discrediting your competitors.

What's more controversial is that I know who is his supplier - from overseas. All his sleeves, ferrules, parts, club heads.
All his statements such as 'this is not an overseas import', 'this is made in the USA', 'be cautious of overseas sellers'....seems to be a man biting his own tongue.

Play the game gracefully.
Think like this: It's like, why $#%@ the guy who clothed you?

Blown out of proportions

Like, just 5 mins ago, my listing on eBay was pulled.
For what? For the fucking FERRULES.
Yea we are talking about cheap plastic parts.

Thanks guys (u know who u r) for blowing this up huh?
I have one question for you though: Why don't you concentrate on what really matters? (Example: living your life.) Rather than pressing me over a ferrule? Or are you trying to invite trouble?

Now the poor folks looking reshaft their clubs and looking for ferrules have no where to buy these.....oh wait, you can buy from my retailers, but they will cost $8 instead of $2.
This is why like I have said plenty of times, whatever you do, there will be consequences. Perhaps you're not really a seller; you don't think about that. One day though, you'll mature and see the bigger picture.

Anyways, shame on Titleist. Ferrules? You kidding me? Damn you
Go fuck yourselves
I can't wait for Taylormade to acquire you ASAP and you'll be left with balls!
Get your priorities right

I'll definitely step it up a notch and play along, game on! Time to roll out a new game plan.
Not exactly a bad thing seeing that I was getting complacent. Time to make life challenging again.

An important post to promote PEACE

Oh man, I had planned a perfect Sunday; wake up late, order some pasta and just laze around, but when I woke up and checked my emails, I got a surprise! An email from Max Kellner - Supermax_golf on ebay!

So I think the whole Supertri Ti Wood saga got to his nerves and he came to me...more like confronted me.
I will attach our conversation here, so you guys can see for yourself. I'd like to do that so you people can see what's the truth and the whole truth. Else, people may accuse me of giving only an account that sides myself. (click on image to enlarge)

My previous report on the fake supertri ti wood: Click to go to link

I might have raised some eyebrows. I might have pissed him off. I don't know. All I was trying to do was to state facts, according to my knowledge. I have contemplated hiding it at first, just keeping it to myself. I did not know if I should publicly voice out that the wood is fake, it's like opening a can of worms. If I voice out, there are consequences...people selling it will get pissed and find all ways to get at you, poke you.
I made an instant decision that I do not want to be a hypocrite. I said I want to share my knowledge with the community and that is a commitment I have made. Hence, I did it. I wrote about the fake wood and provoked a few: especially people selling it.
I mentioned names in the post. Maybe I should not have. Anyway I have deleted his name on that post...time to cut him some slack. It takes a lot for someone to come and send me a message, A LOT! So, go figure.

I just want to clarify that MAX did not cheat me at all! This did not happen. There might be some misunderstanding resuting in some of you thinking that way.
I had never dealt with Max monetarily.
Personally, I do not have a grudge against Max. If I see him on the streets, I would still smile and say "Goodaye Max". I DO NOT HATE HIM.
Having said that, it's not like I am very fond of him either...I mean other than the fact that I find him  quite a good looking chap, theres nothing more to it. I don't love him, I don't hate him. NEUTRAL ok?

However, I still do not regret having wrote the article about the fake supertri ti wood. If I know something, I will say it as it is. That's what people like about me and I'm not going to change that.

I'm not going to play dumb when I know something just so I can protect a few asses.
There are already very few people willing to come out on such issues (because of the repercussions). If I be one of them, where are the hundreds, or even thousands of unknowing buyers going to get an unadulterated opinion?

So moral of the story: MAX did not cheat me! Cut him some slack.

My take on Supertri Ti Wood still stands.
Also, when i know something, I'll still say it.
Only thing maybe I shouldn't mention names. Bad Idea.

No longer a Powerseller on eBay (NOT FOR LONG!!!)

Just this morning after I woke up, I checked my emails.
I got a notice from eBay, stating that my DSRs have fallen below average and I am stripped off my Powerseller status as a result of that.
I investigated further, and it was mainly because of my DSR for (Shipping Time). The rest of my DSRs were excellent, almost 5 out of 5 stars.

Well, I did not have such problems in the past when I was selling clubs and clubheads, because I would ship with FEDEX and it takes only 48 hours to get them delivered to the buyer.
However, with sleeves, I ship using the post office's registered mail service......sometimes to FL, TX, TN it can take 2 weeks (and my worst experience is a month....but does not happen often, 1 in 300) Now, I do not really sell clubheads and clubs on ebay....because all my regular customers would snap them up when I have them.....so there's no more left to sell on Ebay. What I sell on ebay, are sleeves and shaft adapters.
There's no point shipping a FCT sleeve using FEDEX, it cost $20 just for shipping alone! Imagine how much more I would need to price my sleeves if that were the case. The post office would cost me $3.65 with the packaging and thats how I manage to offer free shipping on eBay.

I have not been in the best of health last couple of months too. I've been hit with flu virus very easily and I have not been visiting the post office everyday like the past. Maybe that's also a factor with my low shipping DSR.

I guess buyers also need to understand that DSR is rated for how long did the seller take to ship the item, not how long was the transit time.
Well, with every setback, comes a challenge to overcome it and come back stronger.
I will work hard on improving my DSR, make it a point to visit the post office everyday even when I am sick.....and beg my buyers to leave me good DSRs.

I intend to improve on my DSRs within 1 month and get back my powerseller status.
I need to improve on my DSRs not just to get back my powerseller status, but also to continue selling on ebay, or else I risk limitations on my eBay account. Oh My God!

Please if you buy from me on eBay, help me, leave me with 5 stars. I'll do my best and I hope you can be satisfied.
Its the only way I can continue to offer great stuff at a competitive price.
