Taylormade Tour Issued R9 Superdeep TP!

Look what I saw!
Tour Issue R9 Superdeep TP

For once, theres a difference between TP heads and non TP heads.....unlike the other R9 series, the only difference between TP and non TP is in the FCT sleeve. Not anymore. For the superdeep, the TP versions have a smaller head, and the TP flag is back on!

The Tour Issue TP version of the Superdeep is so small! Now that's a real professional's driver head!

The R9 Superdeep uses the same FCT sleeves as the R9 Supertri

New Taylormade Spider Vicino putter revealed!

What can I say? It looks sweet right?
I have been repeating myself over and over and over again. I was a lousy putter until Taylormade introduced the Spider putter 3 years ago (or so)....since then, I have been a fan of all the Spider putter series. In my honest opinion its the greatest putter ever! LOL!

This is not for sale for now as this is my one and only. If you're keen, let me know. I'd keep you in mind when I come across a few more later....I hope.

2010 Taylormade R9 Supertri FCT Sleeves & Ferrules

So I've been selling the 2010 R9 Supertri FCT sleeves for almost 2 months now...I have been receiving a lot of emails from buyers telling me that the FCT sleeves I sell looks weird, or is different from the ones fixed on the supertri driver in retail stores. Some even mentioned that my sleeves were fake.

Well, fret not, my FCT sleeves are 100% genuine (as usual) LOL. The part that makes it look weird for you guys, is the ferrules.

The 2010 FCT sleeves are much more hollow at the black part, thats how the FCT sleeve is. What you see in retail stores, is the ferrules covering over the FCT sleeves. It makes it look like a piece of FCT sleeve itself, causing you guys to be confused.

Do not worry for I have the ferrules. I must say in advance, they are not cheap. These are not easy to get at all, and are so limited....in fact I have more FCT sleeves than ferrules, and I know, its ridiculous right? Come on, its just a piece of plastic ferrule! Its just another way of Taylormade controlling the market. I will probably be listing them on eBay sold together with a FCT sleeve......(for now).
Until I can get a lot more of these, then I will sell them separately. As of now, these are scarce!

Cheers!

*** Additional info on these ferrules here:

My promise to you guys

To be honest, I almost forgot I have a blog! LOL!

When I first started this blog, it was mainly to write about my articles, to lookout for fakes - especially the Taylormade FCT sleeves.
It was going along well at first, and I have been receiving emails, thanking me of the effort I've put in. It is encouraging I must say, and I thank you all for your support.

Along the way, due to my busy schedule, I have not been updating this blog...it is like a white elephant now. Hahaha!

This is, my first blog, so give me time to learn the ropes of being active on the web. I must admit it is harder than I had thought, but I promise I'll try, starting from today....

Love, Diane

Be very careful though, seems like there are already some china fakes. Found this china photo on the internet, notice the difference? I drew 2 blue boxes on the picture:

2010 Taylormade R9 FCT Sleeves revealed!!!!!!!!

So as I have been saying on my blog since September, Taylormade will be launching all new FCT sleeves for the year 2010. I had them with me since september but was unable to leak pictures, because I 'promised'. Taylormade are doing whatever they can to keep the fans in suspense.

Now, its already 1st Jan 2010, I have to think that you guys have waited long enough. I am revealing the pictures to you guys. I am even putting up a link for sale. I have a handful of these and those of you who wants to be the lucky few to try these and put it into play before the rest of the public does, you can buy it. I will ship out immediately. You can buy it here

Difference between new FCT and old FCT:
1) cosmetic differences
2) new sleeves are lighter than the old sleeves - which promotes a faster swing speed
3) It is also said that the new sleeves are much tighter. It does not loosen up easilly.

There will be 8 types of sleeves for these new sleeves. To tell them apart, look at the number on top of the sleeve.

Numbers 2,3,4,5 are .350 sized
Numbers 6,7,8,9 are TP .335 sized

Numbers 2 and 6 are adjustable in 1.5 degree loft
Numbers 3 and 7 are adjustable in 1 degree loft
Numbers 4 and 8 are adjustable in 0.5 degree loft
Numbers 5 and 9 are adjustable in 0 degree loft

The new sleeves can be used on your old R9 drivers, fairway woods, R9 460, R9 Max, R9 Max Type E. I have tested it out. Of course, you can also use it on the new R9 Supertri driver set to be launched in Feb/March 2010.
You CAN use your old FCT sleeves on the new R9 Supertri drivers too (but you are highly recommended to make the switch to this lighter sleeve which also tightens up better).

As with anything, there will be fakes. The traits of genuine FCT sleeves are pretty much the same on these new sleeves. Look out for a red printed number on top of the sleeve, the inside of the shaft sleeve capacity should be matt grey, not shiny grey, the 'teeth' of the FCT sleeves should show fine lines, the top of the shaft sleeve should have very fine circular lines.

Tour Issue Taylormade R9 TP Irons

I got these irons 1 month ago, but I was too busy to post pictures on my blog as I was travelling frequently for work at that time.

Now that I have the time to post...but I guess its no big deal to you guys anymore, because the pictures of the R9 TP Irons are already out...anyways, since I've taken the pictures, I might as well upload it and not let my efforts go to waste :)

Oh, I have seen some fake R9 irons already!
How to tell them apart, well, at least for me, I noticed difference in:
- the number '7' (fakes have thicker 7, and slight different font)
- the black badge (the whole piece of black badge on the front of the iron)...the fake badge looks very cheap
- the grooves ... authentic grooves seemed larger and sharper than the fake grooves which seemed a bit too 'smooth'

Pre-Released: New Taylormade 2010 Itsy Bitsy Spider Putter

I got some of the new Taylormade 2010 Itsy Bitsy Spider putters earlier this week...
I have been a fan of the Itsy Bitsy, it changed my putting completely. One year ago I tried the Itsy Bitsy Spider putter and could not believe it....it gave me tremendous confidence over every putt. It was THE ONE. This putter gave me the breakthrough I needed. Long putts, short putts, even from the apron of the green, putts were sinked in! My friends noticed the impact this putter had on my game and they all went 'wow'! In fact, 2 of my friends went on to buy an Itsy Bitsy for themselves.

Now with the new 2010 Taylormade Itsy Bitsy, I must say we Taylormade fans are truly rewarded. I LOVE YOU TAYLORMADE!

The feel of the new insert is incredible! I think Itsy Bitsy is the greatest putter ever made - to me at least!

I have 2 kinds now, center shafted and the side double bend shaft. (I myself tried the center shafted one....whooooo!!!!!)

I think these will only be released next year....but I am telling ya....it rocks!

I have a friend who reserved all of these putters that I have on hand now, yet to be confirmed. I should know within the next 48 hours. Anyway, if I have any of these on sale, you will be able to see me put up a 'for sale' link on the front page of my blog or on ebay.
